The USB Wall Socket – now that's a smart idea

File this under great idea which is so obvious that it is amazing that no has done it before, but you will soon be able to get a plug socket that’s equipped with a couple of USB ports.

So those time when you need to charge your phone, tablet etc but are running out of sockets all you need do is hook up to the USB.

The ever so slightly tricky part is that you need to install the faceplate yourself, but providing you have a decent-ish screwdriver that shouldn’t be too taxing. You do however need 35mm of depth space in your wall.
