Nike+ is one of the most accomplished apps for runners. It does the basics- logs your route, and logs your pace using your phone’s built in accelerometers. But there’s a bunch of cool social stuff too. You can link your Nike+ account up to your Facebook so friends and family can see when you’ve started running - and get this, if if you run with headphones in, they can send you a recorded “cheer” to play to you whilst you’re running. There’s also the ability to select a “Power Song” - that you can play at the touch of a button, if you need that extra psychological boost. We’re presuming that it defaults to the Rocky themetune.
