APP OF THE DAY: Sky Go gives users access to movies on the move

Sky Movies live and on demand services are now available on the Sky Go app. This means users can now access a library of movies straight from their smart phones and tablets, as well as from their TV, without any extra cost.

Sky Movies subscribers that use Sky Go can now stream movies on demand via a Wi-Fi connection (Sky say 3G capability to be introduced by the end of the year) and in the next few weeks will have access to brand new releases, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Limitless and Black Swan (which we highly recommend).

It’s great that Sky is giving users control over where, when and how they watch movies and makes the price of a subscription seem much better value for money.

Ian Lewis, the director of Sky Movies, said:

“Sky Movies on demand is a great addition to Sky Go and gives customers complete control over how, when and now where they enjoy the latest movies. Whether customers want to kick back at home and watch the latest movies in widescreen 3D or HD, catch a movie on the laptop while on holiday or at the office, or watch a blockbuster out and about on their phone or tablet, we’ve got it covered.”

Available from iTunes for Free (you’ve got to be a Sky user though, obviously).
