Tweet for the Olympics: A national sport we can ALL partake in

If you don’t fancy your Olympic chances at the long-jump or the sprinting or that Scottish thing where they roll balls along an ice rink, then you should consider tweeting for Britain.

It’s part of a sweet little game you can play on the Olympic 2012 website. Okay you don’t get a medal but… you do get the satisfaction of propelling your country up the league tables by visiting the website and signing in with Twitter. So far Brazil is winning. We’re in second place, but I don’t imagine we’ll stick there for long if all of the Americas start tweeting.

Fortunately Twitter is banned in China – phew.

  • I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon… THANKS….

  • Say you have a website that generates revenue through Google ads, even one with age verification or whatever in place. If someday Google deems your content indecent, they just block you. Meaning you can’t sell adspace through Google anymore. And given the number of ad platforms that Google killed or swallowed on it’s way to global domination, that leaves you with precious little alternatives.
