Um, we knew MySpace was trying to do something about their falling market share, withering membership and lack of action on the site - but we didn't think that whipping out a postmodern logo was part of their solution. Apparently it is.
MySpace VP of user experience Mike Macadaan unveiled the new logo at the Warm Gun Design conference in San Francisco. MySpace intend to fill the "space" with a different artworks on a rotating basis, a little like Google does with their themed homepage logos.
Macadaan's reasoning for the new, arty logo: "MySpace is a platform for people to be whatever they want, so we've decided to give them the space to do it."
We already had a hot controversy on our hands when we asked you what you thought of the new iTunes logo, so tell us what you think of this one...
