RIM unveiled a new Blackberry Bold today, the Bold 9780 with a 5 megapixel camera and the new OS 6.
Where other recent release - the Torch - set new highs for the Blackberry range, this new phone is more about adding depth to the more affordable Bold range.
The phone features the new Blackberry OS 6. Key upgrades from the Bold 9700 include:
· A 5 mega pixel camera
· BlackBerry 6 with the new WebKit browser
· Universal Search
· Social Feeds from Facebook and Twitter feed into BlackBerry Messenger
· 512 MB Flash memory
They say: "Featuring a premium and iconic design with an incredibly easy-to-use keyboard and optical trackpad, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is elegantly styled and packed with advanced communications and multimedia features. It is also the first BlackBerry Bold smartphone to come with the new BlackBerry 6 operating system."
