Nokia X9 phone pictures and specs leaked from Chinese site

God knows quite how this got into the public domain, but pictures and specs claiming to be the new Nokia X9 are flitting around the interwebs.

What we're seeing is a pretty hardcore smartphone running the Symbian 4.0 operating system and featuring a 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU, which is an advanced version of the processor found in the iPhone 3GS.

There's also a 12 MP camera, a 3..7 inch AMOLED screen, 32 GB of storage space and a HDMI out port. Add in Wi-Fi, GPS and HSDPA connectivity and this is a hard-hitting handset. Given Nokia's massive market share it could be huge. We dig the screen to the edge design feature as well.

Don't get too excited though - the release date isn't till the middle of the year so this could just be ideas around a mock-up.
