Turquoise gadgets: get with the "it colour" of 2010

Ladies and Gentlemen, the colour of 2010 will be turquoise.

According to Pantone - the paint company (and self-styled global authority on colour) who chose it, turquoise is "an inviting, luminous hue ... combining the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green."

Apparently, "turquoise evokes thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a languorous, effective escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of well-being."

Great. That's exactly what I want from 2010.

In case you haven't got any tropical waters to hand to remind yourself of the wonders of this fashionable colour, you can at least kit out your essential gadgets in turquoise. At the very least they'll look a bit different and your savvy friends will recognize that you have cunningly incorporated the colour of the year into your sitting room.
