The best Hello Kitty applications out there

Hello Kitty
Since I’m on a bit of an iPhone and laptop roll and our readers (yes you) have expressed a great keenness in Hello Kitty, we thought it would only be right to give you your fur ball fix.

The fashionable feline, who celebrated her £35 birthday this year (we take it that’s in cat years or we want to know what moisturiser she uses) has a range of games and iPhone applications dedicated to her.
We have a look at the top ones.

Follow on after the jump

Official Hello Kitty iPhone application
The application, launched earlier this year by Sanrio and FunMobility lets you download up to 50 Hello Kitty wallpapers. And it’s not only pictures of the feline herself. This application lets you pick from her friends, including My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Chococat, Deery-Lou, Tuxedo Sam, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll and Pochacco.

To get this go to the Apple App store and search for HelloKitty wallpaper. Prices start from £3.

Hello Kitty Online
Although this game has been available for a while for fans in Asia, people in the UK were only been given access last week. The game is claimed to be the first and only official multiplayer online game Hello Kitty, Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Dear Daniel, Keroppi and the others.

It lets fans play with thousands of other players and computer-controlled characters in a virtual world. There are also built-in social media applications such as wall posts, video sharing and blogs.

Oh and the best thing about it is, that its free.

Hello Kitty lands on the Blackberry
It would be unfair to give iPhone users a furry treat without mentioning those who use Blackberry’s (thought we’d forgotten you there didn’t you), and we are pleased to say there is a Hello Kitty application for you too.

The Hello theme from Nancy Drew, not only lets you download wallpaper but also completely customize your phone, including Hello Kitty themes for text messages and your phone book.

Hello Kitty’s tea party
Now we may be a little bit old for this one, but I couldn’t resist putting it in. This site let’s you play games such as hangman, view pictures of the feline in different locations and also lets you send messages to friends on the site.

There are also a range of Hello Kitty recipes you can follow including one for apple muffins, and a list of instructions on how to make crafts such as friendship bracelets (yes I feel very old now.)
