D+ is not the kind of score you’d be happy with on your report card, but it might put a smile on your face if you were to get the Cowon MP3 player. It’s the latest addition to their range, and is a step up from the D2, their previous offering. The D+ player boasts a shiny 2.5inch QVGA screen with touchscreen support and features capacities from 4GB-16GB, expandable up to 32GB.

What’s really impressive about this device is that they’ve included BBE+ sound enhancement which boosts the audio quality of files, and restores clarity and definition to all audio. The player has an impressive battery life as well; with one charge providing you with 52 hours of audio and a whopping TEN hours of video.

It’s available in black and silver and supports a large number of files, with the usual MP3 and WMA, as well as the more unusual FLAC, WAV, and APE. You can use it with the MAC OS for data transfer only, and it also supports Linux- being a great all rounder for whatever system you use.

One can only wonder what will happen when they get to an A+ model, a total apocalypse of audio?

Get it from £99 at Advanced Mp3 players sometime soon.
