Porsche does it again with another luxury handset – the P'9522

Porsche-Design-P'9522-thumb-200x451.jpgThe P’9521 was a beaut of a handset, so it’s only right its descendant – the P’9522 – screeeams as much luxury as its predecessor. It’s no Porsche, but if a high end sports car is out of reach and you’re desperate to own something emblazoned with the brand, the P’9522 is a handsome choice. As we saw with the 9’521, a high class name warrants high class specs and the Porsche P’9522 does not disappoint (well almost, apart from the keypad). It’s a rather special phone, created from just a single solid aluminium block and a single sheet of scratch-proof glass. There’s a 2.8-inch OLED screen, built in WiFi, GPS and a fingerprint reader for the ultimate mobile phone security (not to mention making you feel every bit the spy).

You won’t find this bad boy in common retailers such as the Carphone Warehouse or somewhere equally ordinary – you’ll need to venture to your nearest Porsche store or “exclusive specialist stores” (??). There’s no word on its price as yet, but if the P’9521 retailed for around £800, this model isn’t going to fall very far from the luxuriously high priced tree. C’mon, it is a Porsche phone. It’s never going to be cheap.
