The untapped power of breasts

breast_power.jpgAhh the power of boobs/breasts/hooters (however you're familiar) with their ability to attract (and drop a few jaws) and trigger physical discomfort (for the more well endowed). Well there's a professor Stateside who thinks our breasts hold an untapped power to do so much more than irritatingly bounce up and down. She foresees the future of breasts, and in her future breasts have the ability to reproduce energy. Her ultimate plan... to harness this unused power.

Over the next five years she'll be working on an energy generating t-shirt made of nanowire fabric which generates frictional energy. The fabric is currently in development and would be able to generate 80 miliwatts of energy per square meter - that's a whole lot of boob moving action and enough to power-up a mobile phone. The plan isn't to wear the t-shirt braless and go for a 20 minute jog (that would not be fun). Instead, the plan is to implement the fabric into bras which would be ideal due to the friction and movement caused when on the move. So over the next few years we could be buying charge-up bras alongside our push-ups and chicken fillets.
