I bet you've had many a daydream about unlocking your iPhone haven't you? Well, the daydreams are over my friends, and it's a really simple process too, as long as you don't mind defacing your SIM card. By deface, I mean cut a hole in it.
If it means having an unlocked iPhone, I'm totally up for it (I'm acting like I own one - if I did I *so* would). You'll need SIMable, the high-risk SIM hacking tool. Then all you need to do is follow the instructions: "(1) Cut a tiny hole in your SIM using our free cutting press, (2) Align the SIMable chip to your SIM card, (3) Insert into your mobile phone and start talking."
SIMable are calling it the "10 second solution" for unlocking 3G GSM handsets, so that means it works with a range of other handsets too, including the Blackberry Bold. Rather than mess around with the phone, and risk invalidating warranties, SIMable pays particular attention to your SIM card. And the best part of all is (and rather strangely) it seems to be completely legal. I wonder what Apple has to say about this?
Who cares, it's £16.99 here.
