Man, as if it's not enough battling rumours of the return of pancreatic cancer, and having to read your own obituary in the papers, Steve is now having to prove he hasn't had a heart attack. The guy has more fake deaths than South Park's Kenny.
A mysterious "johntw" posted a story on the community news site iReport.com this weekend, which was then picked up and tagged by CNN. Unfortunately for him (although very fortunately for Steve) it was completely untrue. Fake Steve Jobs Death, it would seem...
If prosecutors can prove that this "johntw" planted the story in order to manipulate the Apple stock price, he could face a fine, or even imprisonment. Worse, should he ever land on the internet using that tag again, he's going to get the mother of all flamings.
