My dreams of owning an HD projector seems to be getting closer with launch of Sony's HW10. It will be available from the end of October and will cost £1760. Yes, that's still a lot pricier than this mini projector, but then you do get to play in 1080p Full HD, and can opt for a screen size of 40-300 inches.
The HW10 features a triple panel Sony SXRD and 8-stage image to deliver super crisp images and uses a All Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) lens which offers a manual zoom, and lets you align the image correctly, no matter the environment. Twin HDMI connectors are included, allowing you to sync the projector with your Blu-ray player and they've also added in Advanced Iris 2 contrast enhancement for good measure. This means that the image responds dynamically to the light in each scene and selects the correct contrast ratio to view it in.
To make it feel slightly friendlier on the pockets , if you purchase one from now till the 31st Dec you can choose a free gift of wither a £249 Blu-ray player or a replacement lamp worth £260.
get it from Sony or call 0870 6060456.
