That Mac rumour we told you about last week just got a little more interesting - and there's pics. Ok, all we know so far is Apple could be about to unleash a newly styled MacBook Pro with new port layout and a very reasonable slash in price tomorrow. The update isn't really a spec related one, it's more about the visual. This time we get to see the possible new MacBook Pro fully open to reveal a glossy screen, black bezel, and revamped trackpad minus buttons. Tap-to-click trackpads aren't the most convenient tool to navigate with, so this might prove to be a bad move for Apple.
See another pic after the jump.
Sources are telling us the pictures are legitimate which we'll be able to confirm tomorrow when Apple reveals all.

Woweee... it looks almost exactly (but not quite) just like the previous models of macbook - which are merely Intel based PCs loaded up with lashings of proprietary DRM.
I cannot understand why people get so worked up by these relativly small incremental changes to the macbook line - especially this one which (from what all the punditistas claim) is explicitly a cosmetic revamp that adds no new must-have features.
Hey Sally, I know you wrote this before the official presentation of the new MacBook Pro, but I think you are really underestimating Apple.
It is not only a revamp, it is also environment friendly, cheaper, has 51% better resolution and speed in graphics thanks to an nvidia chip.
As for your comment that McBooks are just Intel based PCs... I beg to disagree. Macs are beautifully designed, faster and much more friendly to use because of its wonderful OS.
I suggest you go visit apple.com to see and understand the real changes in this new MacBook.
I agree with Samantha. At this stage (when this was written), the Macbook Pro info was just a rumour, which focused primarily on the style and design of the laptop. Now it's been officially released, the focus has shifted to its revamped specs, which Samantha mentions in her comment. Sally read this http://www.shinyshiny.tv/2008/10/apple_launches_2.html, and you can take in the new changes for yourself.
