Touch screen phones are eminently fashionable today so it's hardly surprising that Motorola want in on the action. Their latest phone is entitled the ZN4 (or the Krave, if you prefer the catchier version). It's a flip phone with a 2.8 inch touchscreen, plus an interactive shell.
I like the fact the M logo on the cover doubles up as a speaker, and they've also included a host of features that are quite impressive. The memory is expandable up to 8GB, and you can access the Bluetooth functionality without even opening the phone, if you've already paired it.
Sadly the camera comes in at a measly 2 megapixels and the battery life is only capable of 4 hours talktime. You do get GPS, Wi-Fi and an HTML browser bundled in though, but we pretty much take that for granted nowadays. The 3G connectivity and POP3 email is an unexpected extra, and they've also included a non proprietary headphone socket, yay Motorola!
It's a pretty stylish piece of kit to look at, but we have no UK release date on the horizon so it seems this baby might just stay Stateside. You can surf the net and change functions on the fully touchscreen pad, which uses haptic feedback to help you select the right buttons. One touch brings up a QWERTY keyboard and they've even added an accelerometer for good measure.
