What's a camera without a bit of bling eh? Just a boring bit of black really. Some of us like sporting a camera with a black back, but there are some of us out there who like to be a bit more extravagant and overstated with our gadgetry. If you fall into the latter category, then like a magpie you would have already been attracted to the sparkly Pentax K-m DSLR.
The non blinging version officially launched last week, and the camera itself is aimed at entry level photographers to have their wicked way with. Pentax thought you might like a side of bling with your camera so has sought the services of Bling My Thing to spruce up its camera. The end result is pretty dazzling, albeit homemade looking, but dazzling nonetheless. Pentax spokespeople are keeping tight lipped about price tags, but did say they'll custom design your camera if you want to give it a star studded look, and will discuss prices further should you want to go through with the whole blinging process.
Specs-wise, we're looking at a 10.2 megapixel camera with Pentaz's auto picture mode which automatically detects the type of subject or scene and sets the proper shooting mode. Shake reduction, shooting at 3.5fps and a 2.7-inch screen.
