Rumours have been circulating around the blogosphere for the past week, but yesterday put an end to all the hype and speculation. We've already seen the newly designed MacBook range and now it's the MacBook Air's turn to shine. Yes, that's right, the laptop that caused a size zero laptop revolution has had a revamp and unveiled its skinny chassis to the world last night.

Click after the jump to read all about it...

Apple has packed it with more memory - 120GB HDD or 128GB SSD - which is a generous step up from the 80GB HDD and 64GB SSD in the original. The new MacBook Air also offers better graphics too, thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor (also found in the new MacBook) which according to Apple gives it a quadruple boost in graphics performance. And all this for more or less the same price? Albeit it's still pricey, but since when have you known something so stylish and chic to be at the cheaper end of the pricing scale?

The specs don't end there. The new model now offers up to 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, and features the new multi-touch, multifunction trackpad, backlit keyboard, and mini DisplayPort. It still uses the same LED backlit display and is also still holding on to its claim of five hours battery life. As far as we know, they haven't sliced any more millimetres off the body, but it's still one of the thinnest and lightest laptops... in the world.

Prices for the hard drive model start around £1,119, with prising rising considerably to £1,799 for the 1.86GHZ SSD model.

i-boring

Not a fan of the Apple brand I take it Jackson? I can understand a bit of news like this coming across as quite boring to the everyday person. However, Apple fanboys across the world are rejoicing.
