A uniquely designed Nokia headset for funky folk

Nokia_bespoke_headset.jpgDon't you just love this bespoke headset that's been designed for Nokia, complete with exhaust pipe, mini satellite dishes and parrot feathers (although it looks more like exhaust pipes, megaphones and wings to me). What's a headset without a bit of character eh? That was Nokia's sentiments exactly when they decided to announce the Music Almighty Headset Competition (a headset design competition, if you didn't get that).

The competition asks anyone to come up with a quirky design for a Nokia Headset, which will see the go ahead and actual production of a range of funky headsets akin to this one. The top five designs will be tailor made into real-life, hold in your hand products and showcased in Nokia's flagship stores.

Decorative trinkets were not a prerequisite for the contest, but that didn't stop this funky designer who clearly adopted the anything goes ethos. The competition began yesterday and runs up until the end of the year. Anyone can vote for the designs that'll be showcased in the gallery on the Music Almighty Headset Competition site.
