You might have heard the deafening whispers that there's an election imminent in the US, and at the moment, it's anyone's game. Voter apathy amongst gamers young people is also at an all time high, which is a pretty dangerous political situation.

Rock the Vote is the MTV initiative designed to inspire young people to vote through the medium of P Diddy commercials telling them it's cool, but now there's something significantly better. Xbox Live users can register without actually leaving their sofa - gamer heaven. They can also vote in polls and generally get their opinions heard.

Normally when you hear about political movements embracing technology the result is some god awful Facebook Group, or a viral game asking you to shop the benefit thieves, but this - this is brilliant.

Any chance of getting it in the UK? Oh no, hang on, that would depend on us being able to actually vote in a Prime Minister, wouldn't it?
