A couple of weeks ago Toshiba took its first steps into the world of netbooks. This week it introduces a new Dynabook NX Series notebook. Now there's not much information floating around about it, but from what we do know, it sounds like a pretty decent piece of kit. For a start it packs an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM with the option to upgrade to 3GB and a 128GB SSD, or 160GB SATA hard drive.

It's also packing a DVD super multi drive, WiFi, runs Windows Vista, has three USB ports, an SD slot and a 12-inch LED back lighted LCD with WXGA resolution. Toshiba says its battery life will last for 11.5 hours with the SSD model and 10.5 with the HD model.

No official prices to announce at the moment, but expect to pay around 1,200 Euros for the HDD version and 1,930 Euros for the SSD model. It's due out next month in black, pink and silver, so we'll have to wait until then for exact pricing details.
