It's official, the Queen loves surfing the internet - see, she's just like us, minus the royal status, minions, bucket loads of money and famous family. The Queen is more up-to-date with tech than we may give her credit for. In her arsenal of gadgets she owns an iPod and a Blackberry, and can occasionally be found sitting in front of her gold/platinum/diamond encrusted computer emailing grandsons William and Harry.
Her majesty wants to get a bit closer to the action by paying a visit to king of search, Google, in their UK headquarters. If they're anything like the Google offices in Zurich, she's going to have the best time EVER! Her royal highness will be making her visit next month to meet those responsible for helping her set up the Royal Channel on YouTube.
She's a regular visitor to her YT account and often puts up messages on the video sharing site, even though she only learnt to use a PC a few years ago. Who'd have thunk it, our Queen embracing technology and change.
I wonder if she ever googles herself?
