Sony has just unveiled an ultra portable laptop it's calling the TT, which bears no relevance to Audi whatsoever, they just thought they'd borrow the name. It does however, offer the kind of luxury an Audi TT would if Audi was in actual fact a notebook PC. For a start it's under an inch thick and integrates the first Blu-ray drive on an 11-inch screen, which is also energy efficient, thanks to the use of LEDs. If you're not satisfied with watching your latest DVDs on an 11-inch screen (coz let's face it, 11-inches isn't great), you could always make use of the HDMI output connector, to reap the full benefits of the 1080p resolution of a Blu-ray film.

In terms of hard drive, we're talking two when it comes to the Vaio TT. It's a dual hard drive configuration with the use of two 128GB SSD drives, which can be arranged in RAID 0 or RAID 1, giving you greater levels of performance, not to mention a hefty 256GB of storage. It's also powered by an Intel Centrino 2 processor and comes in either Vista or XP models. Add 2 USB ports, a webcam, Bluetooth, an integrated card reader into the mix and the laptop doesn't sound half bad.

If you're not a fan of the carbon black colour, you could always go for another shade - silk black, champagne gold or crimson red. The TT series doesn't come cheap either. Prices start from $2,000 for your basic model. Start adding all the extras and the price will rise. Add a 128GB SSD drive and the price shoots up to $2,750. Add one more 128GB SSD to the mix and you're looking at around $3,000.
