Sony Ericsson is all about the Bluetooth headsets

It wouldn't be a wireless product launch without throwing in a few Bluetooth headsets. That was Sony Ericsson's sentiments exactly. They've come up with three new headsets for the fashion conscious, the practical and the professional. But which one's which? They're all rectangular, so it makes differentiation a little harder. You've got to hand it to Sony Ericsson, they've really tried. But it's near enough impossible to make a headset look stylish or sexy, no matter what colour or pretty pattern you slap on it. Well, here goes.

HBH-PV715: This little thing boasts a ten hour talk time and a 700 hours standby time. It only has four buttons (anymore and it would have been overkill), designed for user simplicity. Add auto pairing, echo reduction and automatic volume adjustment to its specs list and the PV715 becomes a handy and practical little headset. Available in black or white.

HBH-PV720: Sony Ericsson tells us this is "a small sized headset for the fashion conscious". You've got the option to change the design with 2 Style-Up covers and removable ear hooks or let it hang from the metallic necklace provided. This model boasts higher specifications than the PV715. By that I mean its talk time is better - 11 hours talk time and 800 hours standby time. The rest of it's features match the PV715.

HBH-PV740: This headset is aimed at the business user. It includes a headset desk stand and USB charger and has a small screen to display the battery status. The rest of its specs are identical to the headset above.

Each headset comes with two extra ear hooks, so it's more than likely one of them will fit nice and snug into your ears. All three models will be hitting the shops in October.
