Just when we thought there couldn't be any more R2D2 gadgetry left, or there'd at least be a gap in the unveiling of another one to give you a chance to digest all the other android gadgetry building up, along comes this R2D2 Projection Alarm Clock from Firebox. Like most Artoo gadgetry, you've really got to be a fan to covet its presence in your house/bedroom, and like most Artoo gadgetry, this one performs a very useful function - it'll get your lazy ass out of bed in the morning.
Place him on your bedside table and he'll be more than happy to project the time in bright red digits so big, there'll be no early morning squinting and confusion as to what time it is. He also features an LCD clock in case you're into neon wallpaper. The famous droid will even make a few signature beeps and chirrups in the process, which is incidentally, how he'll be waking you up too. It makes for a really cute and useful alarm clock, which might possibly cause you to wake up confused, believing you're in the middle of a Star Wars movie.
