We love a good rumour. And today the internet is rife with a bit of gossip regarding Nintendo and a new DS model. It is thought the improved model will be landing sometime next year, which is, yes, very ambiguous, but who cares it's been put out there. So now, as we all sit around twiddling our thumbs, waiting like petulant little children for an official announcement, all we can do is hold on to the hope that there is at least 99.9 percent truth in all this buzz.
It's expected to sport a touchscreen on both displays, large wide aspect screens and a whole bunch of other exciting features and enhancements. Nintendo is dismissing it as "pure rumour and speculation" and there is already a lot of scepticism generating. I wouldn't get too excited about the picture either - it's a mock up.
