Last month, HTC's chief financial officer himself announced the much talked about android handset - the first handset to run Google's Android mobile operating system - and that it would be making its way to a launch date before the year is out. Since then, an update has emerged in the form of leaked photographs of the Dream G1 in a near-completed state. The Dream G1 is tipped to feature a touchscreen, 3G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The T-Mobile branding (which you'll see if you squint real hard) only puts to rest suspicions as to who will be the initial carrier of the open source handsets and confirms what we thought all along.
The pictures signify that HTC's Android handset is slowly but surely coming to a store near you soon. But what we want to know is when? Enjoy the pics for now, until we bring you more information when we have it.
