Casio's easy Mode helps your Gran grasp digital pics: Say hello to the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z19

What does your Gran desire from a camera? She's not interested in HDMI cables, 20 picture modes or manual settings, she want something that's easy to point and shoot and a nice screen to view images on. After all, the only point of her taking pics is so she can show them off to her friends, 'Look at Zara's new hair' or something equivalent. So what do we have here, a basic camera with a decent screen, 5 colour choices (silver, black, green, pink and light pink) and an Easy Mode, especially for her.

She doesn't have to faff around with settings, as on Easy mode there's only flash, the self timer and image size to worry about. It clocks in at 9.1 megapixels and is 23.2 mm thick, which is pretty much all you need from a budget camera. It manages to include a 3x optical zoom, face detection and a 2.6 inch LCD screen, and of course, the Easy Mode is the icing on the cake.

It will be available around Christmas time, so will be perfect for a stocking filler.
