Cars and laptops have merged to produce a rather tasty laptop treat for those who can afford a new computer somewhere in the region of £10,000. The car in question is the Bentley, the laptop is the ever plush Ego - both of which are associated with high class-ness, extravagance and plenty of 'look at me, look at me'. Normal folk, don't fret, we hear Asus are giving the Eee PC 701 a makeover. A luxury product boasts luxury production and this is no exception. The Ego Bentley laptop is hand-built, with authentic Bentley cross-over hand stitching and a colour scheme to match.
The leather is taken straight from a Bentley's insides, and the handle's even been modelled on the car's chunky doorknob. So, as you can tell, as much of the notorious plush-mobile has been incorporated into the design as possible. And just like the car itself, whatever the colour scheme of the exterior, the interior will match it, alongside other features we've been treated to on previous Ego models. These include a high gloss chrome outer frame, Windows Vista, a 64 bit processor and a 160GB hard drive.
Lavish laptop also means a lavish retailer. So it's really not surprising that the laptop will end up in Selfridges later this summer.
