Rumour: Microsoft to partner with Nokia on a Zune phone?

It's difficult to get excited about a Zune phone, when we're yet to see the original hardware here in Europe. However, the Microsoft rumour mills are frantically churning against the Apple mills, bringing us news of a Zune/Nokia collaboration.

It might not take the form of a dedicated Zune handset though. Instead, it may well be that the Zune Marketplace software could be put in a Nokia handset (the same may well happen with handsets running Windows Mobile).

Fact? Fiction? Mere coincidence that this story comes to us a mere hour or so later than the iPhone Nano story?
