There's very little improvement to be had on the 3G iPhone (battery life being one notable exception) and at first glance, you'd think the glossy black back is right on the money. But when you look at what Colorware can do with your monotone device, shelling out for a paint job doesn't seem like such a ridiculous idea.
The initial back will set you back $150, whilst you can get additions such as the button, frame or dock customised for about $20 each. And if you are waiting with baited breath for the rumoured RED 3G iPhone, you might want to consider going for this version and making a donation to an AIDS charity.
