I'm sure there are some terribly practical applications for Google Earth (GPS, anyone?) but I've never used it for much more than trying to find my house. The other application is to find weirdness and anomalies across the world, which is what this site's devoted to.
Whether it's crop circles, odd sattelite mapping or the suspicion of something Top Secret going on, Map Of Strange has it covered. They've also just started a Street View section, which they're hoping to get populated by your submissions. So, if you've spotted something odd, go here to add it.
