Is the Toshiba Portégé G910 a super smartphone?

A biometric fingerprint scanner. Built in GPS. Add a 3 inch wide screen and a full QWERTY keyboard to the mix and you have a really comprehensive phone. I like that it runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, perfect for that business exec on the go.

It runs all Windows programs, from Word to Excel and also includes push email. However that's about where the innovation ends. The phone weighs in at a hefty 183g, and the talk time life is only 300 minutes.

The camera is not up to much either, clocking in at only 2 megapixels, which is one megapixel less than the G810, in the same range. However you do get WiFi, Bluetooth and HSDPA for fast downloading and easy Internet usage.

The GPS navigation is also a good selling point of this model, as it uses OneXTRA Assistance, which locks in on your location and helps you navigate to it easily. It also provides sensitivity when indoors, which could be useful in multi storey car parks.

The biometric fingerprint scanner seems to be taking personal security to the next level, meaning only the user can access the phone, so no chance of someone reading through your texts/ private documents (delete as applicable). Could the Blackberry have a serious contender on its hands?
