Here's a bit of good news for our American friends. UK readers, I'm afraid this handset isn't available to us *sad face*. The BlackJack II has a new spring in its step, as it's been revitalised by Samsung with a fresh new paintjob. It's not the entire phone that's received a candy coloured makeover though. The smartphone's have a white face with a pink or blue back panel, with either blue of pink tinted buttons. Blue for the boys and pink for the girls perhaps?

It's only the exterior that's been given the make-over treatment. When it comes to specs, these are still the same. It still runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, has a full QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM connectivity and tri-band HSDPA connectivity. As well as that, it also packs built-in GPS, mobile TV capabilities, full HTML browser and a paltry 2 megapixel camera.
Unfortunately, it won't be available in the UK, but it's massive in the US and will probably prove to be a big hit. One last bit of good news for our US readers - the pink and blue BlackJack II handsets will stay the same price as the basic black and wine coloured models.
