South Park and Galaga amongst line-up for Xbox Live Arcade

South_park_game.jpgGaming geeks, prepare to throw those hands in the air with pure exhilaration at the announcement of three new games coming to Xbox Live Arcade. A South Park game and the sequels to Galaga and Geometry Wars are all part of Xbox Live Arcade's "best ever line-up", and are due to arrive next year.

The South Park game was revealed in true South Park style, with the ever so gracious Cartman saying, "Can we please, just get back to playing our video game, please", over the tannoy system at the Microsoft E3 media briefing. The title for the South Park game is yet to be revealed, but it has been confirmed by Microsoft that Cartman, Kyle, Kenny and Stan will definitely be making their way to you for plenty of controversial cartoon caper action.

Microsoft also confirmed the sequel to Geometry Wars is currently in development and is being created by the same team behind Project Gotham Racing. Expect six gameplay modes, new enemies and multiplayer mode for up to four players.

Galaga fans aren't the only ones being treated to an updated version of a legendary game. Galaga will now include, new gameplay mechanics, updated visuals and a host of evil enemies.

Try and contain your excitement, you'll just be torturing yourself - they'll be arriving next year remember?
