Five fun colours and 10.2 megapixels to boot. You can't really complain now, can you? Add to this mix a 3x optical zoom, 1600 ISO, and a 2.7 inch screen, and I think it's fair to say you have a bargain on your hands. The camera may be low budget, but it doesn't scrimp on features with auto red eye fix and Samsung's face detection technology, to create great snaps.
I like the fact they've included an Auto Contrast Balance (ACB), as cheaper cameras often don't deal well with low light, causing blurred images and strange shadows. Hopefully the inclusion of the ACB will correct this, and they've also packed in Image Stabilisation, to counter shaky hand syndrome.
The camera shoots MJPEG quality video at 30 frames per second, and there are various scene modes to choose from.
£129 from Samsung at the end of August
