It's the battle of the 8 megapixel cameraphones at the moment. We've already seen the high megapixeled effort from Sony Ericsson, and heard about the 8 megapixel cameraphone supposedly coming from Motorola. LG doesn't want to be the last to jump on the 8 megapixel bandwagon, and if the rumours are to be believed they won't be.
The phone in question is the LG KC9010 and it's due for release in October. Inside sources are saying the cameraphone will come with a Xenon flash, image stabilisation, face recognition and will record video in 720 x 480 at a frame rate of 30fps.
As far as its outer body goes, all we know is (or think we know) it's 14mm thick, it will be aluminium framed with tempered glass and will have a WVGA touch screen.
Sadly, there are no pictures to accompany the rumour, so you'll have to make do with this interpretation from Dan, the brand spanking new editor of Tech Digest.

The upcoming LG 8MP camphone is supposed to be known as the LG KC910 (not the 9010 as you posted (as well as your 'source' and brothers at Tech Digest.
