Pink Patch Facebook advert banned

Comments (2)

pink patch.jpgYou're (possibly) a girl, and you're (most definitely) on Facebook, so the chances of you seeing an advert for the Pink Patch is almost guaranteed. Girls <3 diets, didn't you know?

Now, it seems the Pink Patch is getting in trouble for having no scientific evidence to back up its 'lose two stone in two weeks simply by wearing this stupid little herbal patch. Oh, and also? It's pink' claim. Some of the background research was also conducted on animals, which contravenes the Advertising Standards Agency rules.

Are we surprised? No. Did we almost get suckered in by the 'Try it for free for two weeks' offer? Hell yeah.

I think it's funny that pink patch is advertised directly under this article.

If this Advert has been banned then why have I seen it several times tonight when I have been logged on to the site..?? It does not just appear on girls profiles either. Not sure why I am getting the advert though.
