Takeaway curry. Takeaway coffee. Takeaway broadband? O2 is going a little bit Dominos Pizza on us, offering customers broadband they can buy from high street Carphone Warehouse and O2 stores, and install themselves in just four steps.
In the box, you get a wireless router and everything you need, all purchased for £30, which is redeemed against your first bills. From then on, it's £7.50 a month, which will get you a 8 meg download speed and unlimited usage. You can get faster downloading and uploading for up to £15 a month.
It's launching at the beginning of August, and in theory should mean you no longer have to take a morning off to wait for your service provider to turn up to connect your broadband or deliver your router. Yay!
