As someone whose laptop constantly runs out of battery, the new Power4Life packs from Philips seems ideal. The first is the SCM7880 USB adapter, which lets you charge devices without needing to bring along your wires, and even has adapters for different countries. It provides you with around 15 hours of juice, and would be great for topping up that iPod.
My favourite would have to be the SCE7640 though, as this is a compact power pack for your laptop.
Yes, really. It comes with all the adapters you might need to hook it up to your computer, no matter what model, and will give up to 60 hours of power. I'm dubious it will be as good as it claims, but if it really worked I might find myself binning my actual charger forever!
