Meridian_i80.JPGHands up who remembers the Meridian F80, the collaboration between Meridian and Ferrari that produced "their finest piece of work ever"? Well, now it has a compatible and equally tempting playmate - the i80 with Universal Dock for iPod. According to Meridian. The i80 connects to the F80, giving you instant and complete control of the music library stored on your iPod, through the F80s remote or via the front panel buttons. Track information is displayed on the F80s OLED screen.

Whatever version of the iPod you own, it doesn't matter, the i80 doesn't discriminate. Share your digital music with friends and show it all off on your brand new iPod dock.

Meridian is quite well known for producing rather high-end audio systems, with great sounding audio quality. Meridian are trying to continue this trend with the i80, by "marrying together the convenience that the iPod offers with our expertise in sound quality and engineering", to produce the "very finest in music listening".

The i80 also charges your iPod so there's no need for pesky wires. Not only do they work well together, but they're also stylin' - they've got similar curved designs and have coordinated red and yellow trims to match the Ferrari inspired F80.

The dock, available in standard gloss black will be available from the 14th July for around £195.
