Fans of the force have been treated to so much Star Wars themed computer gadgetry over the years, that by now their desks should be absolutely brimming with George Lucas gear. If this describes you, you'd better make some room on your desk for one of these bad boys. Clearly not your typical USB hubs, the R2D2 and Darth Vadar hubs are what some would deem cool personified (by some, I mean the geeks).

For more info and to see one in action see after the jump.

Both provide four extra USB ports - because you can never have too much of those - and they also make various movie-related sound effects. Just like the real R2D2 in the movie, the R2D2 has blinking lights and turns his head back and fourth. In contrast to that and very unlike the movie, Darth Vadar's eyes will glow red. For every three minutes that go by, your USB hub will make some kind of character-related noise. If the sound effects prove to be too much of a distraction though, you can switch them off.

Check it out in action.

So long Dr Who USB hub - I will so be replacing you with one of these.
