There are people on this here internet getting decidedly excited about Spore. If you're in the dark, it's an EA Games endeavour, which is not getting the official release until September, when it will be released on platforms including the iPhone, but such is the pedigree of its creator the buzz starts now. Will Wright was the guy behind The Sims and Sim City, and in this new game you get to play God starting at the beginning of evolution and extending all the way to dominating outer space.
Over at Spore Creature Creator you can download a programme to create your own creature. There's a free version, or for $9.99 you get three times amount of features. Once you've created your Spore you can add him or her to the gallery, or the Sporeapedia, along with the almost half a million of other Spores. What are you waiting for?
