Mobiu is a portable office solution from The Key Revolution, designed to give you the freedom to work anywhere and create a secure work environment from any online PC, this so called 'cloud computing' revolution.
It's a SIMAssured chip and pin device, which enables tamper-proof access to files, data and applications from any online computer running Window XP or Vista. Once unplugged, it leaves no traces behind - it would be like you were never there (which sounds quite unlawful). The main emphasis on this little device is how security safe it is, hence the leaving no trace element of it.
This is how it works. It stores all the software required to remotely access your documents and has a SIM for safe and secure user authentication (make sure to pick a tricky password now). When this is backed up, your information is stored in Key Revolution's online vault. You can access your documents from these MobiVaults and make saved changes without leaving a shred of evidence that you were ever there.
File sharing and collaborative working could really be made easy too, by setting up shared MobiRoom private work spaces, with a starter pack of 5GB of secure storage provided per Mobiu subscription.
Your data is stored online, so if your Mobiu happens to get lost or stolen, it will trigger the remote 'kill' feature, which disables the Mobiu when you report it. So whatever happens to your Mobiu, rest assured you'll still be able to retrieve all your data within 48 hours.
It's available from Early July for £135 including VAT.
