The Disney Innovation House - I *so* want to live here

Imagine a house full of futuristic, state-of-the-art, hi-tech equipment. I'm talking about RFID tags, which have the ability to change lighting preferences upon entering a room, or play music depending on preference, or better still, a magic mirror (literally) that puts virtual outfits on the user in real time (forget Cher's rotating wardrobe in Clueless - this sounds so much better).

So are you imagining it? Welcome to Disney's Innovations Dream Home.

You'd never need to lift a finger and do any household errands ever again in this house (this is my kind of house). Each room has touch panels that all interact with streaming HD feeds and HP media servers running Microsoft's Media Center. It really is a geek's paradise. One of my favourite features has to be the projectors and the host of automation, that'll bring your favourite animated characters to life (*soooooo* cool), complete with a cannon that fires virtual projectiles (even cooler).

Culinary aficionados will love the voice activated computer situated in the kitchen, which looks up recipes and reads them to you. Other rooms include a home theatre with a 100-inch rear projection screen with a 7.1 speaker system and the dining room which features a Microsoft surface-like dining table.

The Innoventions Dream Home in Tomorrowland is both a show and a showcase and its virtual family, the Elias', will be welcoming people into my their Dream home at the end of June.
