Why is it the US are always a step ahead of us on the technology front? They've been playing with this baby long before we even got a press release hinting it was in the works. Well it's finally here, and I have to say it's a pretty decent piece of a kit. It comes in three sizes of storage capability (2,6, and 8GB) with price points repectively £59, £79, and £99.
The Sansa Fuze has a 1,9 inch colour screen, and has all the expected features, from music player, video player (MPEG4 files), FM tuner (standard on any Sansa product) and photo album, you also get a microSD card slot and voice recorder.
The microSD card is actually one of the most impressive features as it allows you to transport content around and it syncs immediately with the player, so no extracting music from different files, just insert and it will all be added to your play list after it has reconfigured (in under a minute!)
The battery life is approx 24 hours of audio and five hours of video and it's very ergonomically designed so is easy to navigate. You also get access to a host of download services with Sansa which include Rhapsody To Go®, Napster, eMusic and others.
