Firefox 3 up and running... just

Yesterday was Download Day, or if you were in the UK, Download Six Hours After Those on the Pacific Coast of America Had Woken Up Day. There were certain issues with having so many people all clamouring to download Firefox 3, and GetFirefox appeared to have some problem coping. Now, though, it all seems to be fixed, and you can upgrade your favourite browser to the sparkly new version. I did this morning, and most of my add-ons seem to be working quite nicely on this new version (come on TabMixPlus).

But what else can you expect?

The Awesome Bar
Anything called something so blatant has got to be good. It's a menu of suggested links that pops down as you type keywords into the URL box, taken from your bookmarks and your previously visited sites. You can disable it, but why would you want to dump something called the Awesome Bar?

Speed
It's definitely faster. Thank god. And it uses less processing power.

A new skin
It's kinda odd looking, and I'll probably spend this afternoon looking for a different one. The idea is that if you're an Apple user, the skin should replicate Safari closely, and Vista users should get a Vista-esque version.

Searchable downloads
The pop-up box can now be searched, so as long as you're not a regular 'clean up' user, you'll be able to find the stuff you've saved easily.

There's heaps more, and indeed a whole day's worth of time wasting to be done in finding all the neat tips and tricks. You can check out Mozilla's own explanation here.

my firefox3 does work after downloading, it is crashed and I do not why, even I lose my all very important bookmarks, from previous firefox and I have to re-browse finding those website for my works.perhaps the crashed is caused by firefox itself. thus, for now it is the worse one I have gotten.
