Big Brother is watching you - quite literally

Big Brother 9 launched yesterday (as if you didn't know already) and what a great summer it's going to be getting to know these new housemates fame-hungry losers housemates. The Big Brother housemates aren't the only ones undergoing 24/7 surveillance. We're part of Big Brother Britain didn't you know - only off-screen (TV screens anyway). With 4.2m CCTV cameras watching our every move, we're like a bunch of unsuspecting guinea pigs being spied on for reasons unknown to us (it's a conspiracy I tell you).

But what if you want to do some snooping of your own? With the amount of spying gadgets out there (both legal and illegal), I'm starting to get the impression that we're a *very* distrustful nation. If the above describes you, you might want to take a look at two very interesting spy gadgets over the jump that will be sure to put an end to any suspecting doubts you may have.

SpyPod
Afraid there's some infidelity taking place in the bedroom when you're away? Eradicate those fears with the SpyPod. It looks like like an iPod docking station, it even acts like an iPod docking station with alarm clock and everything. Get up-close and personal with your unwary victims and record their every move. They'll be none the wiser. Just say you found out your short-sighted and now have to wear glasses. Note: be very *very* suspicious if your mate suddenly starts to wear glasses with a thick-ish rim. The SpySpecs feature a tiny high-quality camera that feeds the captured video to a recording device via a discreet cable. This nifty gadget is so cool I must get my hands on a pair.
