Projectors are great but are still considered at the top end of the scale of home entertainment systems. For this reason they mostly go untouched by us normal folk. We'd all like one but don't feel like shelling out a month's wages on in-home entertainment. To eradicate this problem, there are a range of reasonably priced mini-projectors out there, trying to entice customers into branching into this form of entertainment.
Well another attempt has been made by Earth Trek who is also claiming to have released the smallest handy projector - a title they probably won't hold for much longer.
The 90-805R mini projector weighs a puny 160g and is only four by two inches. For such a small package, this mini projector can apparently pump out a 22-inch diagonal image, although there is no hint as to from what distance. It has an SD slot and an A/V input via 3.5mm jack and a built-in speaker.
We're still waiting to find out its release date along with the price but with Microvision's Show Projector due to come out over the impending months, they'd better get their skates on.
